Bench Chisel 2"

All the craftsmanship of our legendary framing chisels, sized for the bench. The 2" Bench Chisel handles wide mortises, hinge recesses, and broad paring tasks with authority. Hand forging with hammers compresses the steel and concentrates carbon for a cutting edge that simply cannot be replicated by stamped or drop-forged production tools. The hardwood handle is fitted properly to the socket and topped with a shock ring to prevent splitting during heavy mallet work. Ships shaving sharp.
