Large Slick (8" Blade)

The Large Slick is a push chisel for timber framing — driven by body weight rather than a mallet to pare mortise walls, clean tenon shoulders, and shave mating surfaces to a perfect fit. The 8" blade gives you a wide, commanding paring surface for large timber joints. Hand forged from high-carbon steel and fitted with a long hardwood handle for two-handed control. Once you work with a well-tuned slick, you won't go back to pounding.
